At Christmas we celebrate the birth of Jesus, God’s greatest gift to humanity. At Easter we celebrate the resurrection of Jesus from the dead. He accomplished what no man could do. God sent Jesus into the world to pay a price that we couldn’t pay. Jesus died on a cross for the sins of humanity past,present and future so that we could be made right with God. Death could not hold Him, and we remember His resurrection on Easter Sunday to remind us that Jesus defeated death once and for all, for all those who believe in Him. As we choose to follow Jesus we can experience His peace and love in our life that will last forever. For I hold you by your right hand- I, the Lord your God. And I say to you, ‘Don’t be afraid. I am here to help you. Isaiah 41:13. When we place our hand into God’s hand through faith and trust ,He will guide us and take us through times of difficulty and struggle. As we lean on Him the Holy Spirit will guide our steps. At those times God will prompt us to take the next steps, that may involve a difficult conversation or stepping out in a way that is not familiar to you. Remember God is already in your tomorrow and will take you through the least path of resistance if you trust Him. It won’t necessarily be easy, and depending on where you are the path back to where you should be may take longer, but if you trust God, you will experience His very best for your life. And I am convinced that nothing can ever separate us from God’s love. Neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither our fears for today nor our worries about tomorrow-not even the powers of hell can separate us from God’s love. No power in the sky above or in the earth below- indeed, nothing in all creation will ever be able to separate us from the love of God that is revealed in Christ Jesus our Lord. Rom 8:38-39. You are loved beyond measure. If you were the only person in the world Jesus still would have died for you, because you are worth it. You are so precious to God that He fill in the gaps in your life as you choose to walk with Him each day. What shall we say about such wonderful things as these? If God is for us, who can ever be against us? Rom 8:31. How incredible, just think, if the God of Heaven and earth and creator of the universe is for you who could possibly be against you. Just imagine what you could do! As we recognise who we are in God with Jesus in our heart, all things become possible. God will work with us to make the impossible possible in our life. God loves you beyond measure and is keenly interested in every part of your life to ensure that you step into the fulfilment of everything that He has for you, and has made you to be. We can put our confidence in Him in all things, as He will make a way. As we step out in faith as God prompts us, and just trust Him, we will do incredible things. And we know that God causes everything to work together for the good of those who love God and are called according to his purpose for them. Rom8:28. God has a wonderful plan for your life, and as you keep trusting Him He’ll bring them to pass. We don’t always understand what is happening in our life, as we live in a world where bad things can happen to good people. God never promised us a trouble free life, but as we keep our eyes focused on Him He’ll turn around for the good what the devil has meant for harm. It’s God’s desire that you are the head and not the tail,and as you walk with Him He’ll make a way. The devil wants you to take your eyes off God to take you off the course that God has for your life, so just keep trusting God and He’ll bring you through. Show me the right path, O Lord; point out the road for me to follow. PS 25:4. God’s Word is God’s way. It’s His road map for life. The Bible is the only book where the author shows up as we read it. God is there to reveal truths to our heart, to provide us guidance and direction for our life, to reveal His many promises for all who place their hope in Him, and to provide us comfort in our time of need. God’s Word is life changing. As we spend time in God’s Word each day, God will give us greater revelation so that we’ll see things in a different light and see things that we had not seen before. It’s Gods Word that reveals Jesus and His redemptive power to our heart. It’s the power of God at work, transforming the lives of everyone who believes. For all who are led by the Spirit of God are children of God. So you have not received a spirit that makes you fearful slaves. Instead, you received God’s Spirit when he adopted you as his own children. Now we call him, “Abba, Father.” Rom 8:14-15. When we accepted Jesus into our heart we were accepted into God’s family as His children. As we walk in the Spirit we’re walking in God’s ways with full access to our Heavenly Father. In fact as part of God’s family we can now come to our Heavenly Father as Abba Father that means Daddy God. We can draw so near to God and have an intimate heart to heart experience with Him, where He will fill all the gaps in our life, He’ll be the father or mother we never had, He’ll be our confidence and our all.
